New Delhi, May 7 (IANS) A Delhi Police constable was shot dead by his colleague in the capital, police said Monday.

“The incident was reported around 11 a.m. on the premises of the Police Training School (PTS) at south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar where Dinesh was shot dead by Sunil with his service gun,” said a police official.
“What prompted the accused to open fire is not clear yet. Our enquiry is on,” the officer said.
Kumar was rushed to All India Institute of Medical Sciences where he was declared brought dead, police said.
“Both were posted with a battalion of Police Training School and hailed from Rajasthan,” said the official.
