Dubai, July 6 (IANS/WAM) Two government departments in Dubai, the Dubai Municipality and the Land Department, have launched a campaign to collect old household items to be distributed later to the needy.
The campaign “Give new life to your old items” will mainly target government employees.
Items to be donated include old dresses, electronic gadgets, kitchen items, health equipment, medicines and other undamaged items kept in houses without using them.
The Land Department is taking part in the campaign for the third consecutive year.
Arrangements have been made to receive the items during working hours at the Dubai Municipality headquarters at Deira and at Al Twar Centre.
