Mumbai, July 31 (IANS) Pune cueists experienced mixed fortunes Tuesday with two players advancing and four making premature exits in the Shyam Shroff Memorial All India Open Invitation Snooker Tournament being played at the Khar Gymkhana.

Satish Karad beat Akash Asrani of Khar Gymkhana 3-2 to enter the fifth round, while Jaideep Deshpande of Deccan Gymkhana beat Akhil Sayed of Vashi 3-0 to make it to the fourth round.
Divesh Inamdar crashed in the fourth round, while Chintamani Jadhav, Bhavesh Chaturvedi and Akash Padalkar lost in the third round.
Among the significant winners were markers Anant Yelve of Jolly Gymkhana, Vidyavihar and Samuel Selven of Otters Club who advanced to the fifth round in contrasting fashion, while Sanjeev Bijlani of Park Club cruised into the fourth round.
