Beijing, Aug 1 (IANS) Twelve people were trapped after a coal mine got flooded Wednesday in China’s northern province of Shanxi, the China Daily reported.
The accident occurred in a pit under construction in Hongtong county, it said. Twenty-two people escaped from the flooded shaft. The mine has a designed annual production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes.
