Islamabad, Aug 1 (IANS) A total of 167 peacocks have died in Pakistan over the past three weeks.
The latest deaths due to a viral disease called Ranikhet killed five birds in the Tharparkar deserve in Sindh province, Geo News reported.
According to residents, the viral disease has spread from hens among other avians and can’t be controlled unless eradicated from where it originates.
