New Delhi, Aug 15 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Wednesday paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of India’s 66th independence day celebrations.
On his way to the Red Fort, the prime minister laid a floral wreath at the Rajghat on the banks of the Yamuna where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated after his 1948 assassination.
