New Delhi Sep 1 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Saturday launched a plantation drive in the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) area during which over 5,000 saplings will be planted.

A total of 5,155 sapling will be planted in the 981 colony parks maintained by the NDMC and in schools and government office complexes.
Speaking on the occasion, Dikshit praised NDMC for their efforts to increase the green cover of the capital in its area it is responsible for.
