Chennai, Sep 1 (IANS) Composer S.S. Thaman is all set to meet the December deadline for the soundtrack of the much talked about Junior NTR starrer “Baashah”. He has already finished three songs and says that remaining three will be wrapped up by October.
” ‘Baadshah’ is done with 3 songs, will be completing 2 more this month and another 1 in mid-October. Audio in December,” tweeted Thaman Saturday night.
With a successful track record of several musical hits over the years, “Baadshah” is sure to add another feather to Thaman’s cap.
The Thaman-JuniorNTR combination was last seen in the super hit film “Brindavanam”.
Produced by Bandla Ganesh, “Baadshah” also stars Kajal Agarwal, Navdeep and Kelly Dorji in key roles.
Directed by Srinu Vaitla, the action-thriller with appropriate amount of comedy, is due for a theatrical release early next year.
Junior NTR, who has teamed up with Vaitla for the first time in “Baadshah”, sports seven different hair styles in the film, touted to be highest budget Telugu movie so far.
In 2011, when Junior NTR starrer “Shakthi” came out, it was said to to the most expensive film made on a budget of about Rs.50 crore, however, the socio-fantasy drama with a good dose of action failed to set the box office afire.
