London, July 20 (Inditop.com) Grammy nominated American boy band group Backstreet Boys are pinning high hopes for their second shot at fame with a comeback and this time they want to be as big as the English rock legends Rolling Stones.
The ‘nineties pop group who enjoyed a string of hits including “Quit playing games with my heart” and “Show me the meaning of being lonely” have reformed their association minus former bandmate Kevin Richardson, reports contactmusic.com.
Another singer Nick Carter has been battling alcohol and drug demons for ten years, but has however sobered up for their comeback tour.
“There are demons I am fighting but I just want to be fit and healthy. If you fall off the horse, you just have to get back on again. We’re here to stay – we want to be as big as the Rolling Stones,” he said.
Other band members include Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and A.J. McLean.
