Gurgaon, Oct 1 (IANS) Police Monday arrested a manager of a pub here at Mehrauli-Gurgaon (MG) Road for attempt to murder and for assaulting a group of people celebrating a birthday. Over 18 bouncers were also booked, police said.

Ankit Lohchab, an engineering student and resident of Faridabad’s Sector 16, was celebrating his birthday Sunday night with his friends in a pub in MGF mall on MG road. They created a ruckus for delayed service, said a police officer.
“Instead of providing service, manger Mahaveer Singh with bouncers Sanju, Sumit and more than 15 others attacked the birthday participants. Some of them were injured seriously and were admitted to private hospitals,” the officer added.
“We have arrested Mahaveer Singh. The other accused would be arrested soon,” DLF Phase-2 police station chief Jagdish Prasad told IANS.
