New Delhi, Oct 2 (IANS) The Indian Women’s Press Corps (IWPC), a premier professional organisation for Indian women journalists, Tuesday announced its second short story writing competition.
A statement from IWPC, announcing the competition, said the theme is “Crossroads” and the length of the story should not exceed 3,000 words.
Works should be original and unpublished, and can be mailed addressed to Indian Women’s Press Corps, (Short Story Competition), 5 Windsor Place, New Delhi- 110001, said the statement.
Three best entries will be respectively awarded cash prizes of Rs.25,000, Rs.15,000 and Rs.10,000 each.
The competition will be open to all women writers with the exception of office bearers and managing committee members of the IWPC and their immediate families.
