Raipur, July 21 (Inditop.com) The Chhattisgarh police have recovered over 24,000 live cartridges and 151 illegal arms in the past seven months, the state assembly was informed Tuesday.
In reply to a question, state Home Minister Nankiram Kanwar told the assembly that police recovered 24,700 live cartridges, seized 151 arms besides 47 grenades and 49 bombs in 131 different cases in the state between December 2008 and June 28 this year.
He said 80 people were arrested in the recovery of illegal arms.
