Pune, Oct 31 (IANS) Ridhima Dilawari maintained her commanding lead at the end of the second round of the Usha Maharashtra Ladies Golf here Wednesday.

Ridhima carded a six-over 77 but was still five shots clear of Millie Saroha (77-75) and six ahead of Raksha Phadke (78-75) and Gurbani Singh (77-76).
Ridhima, who opened the tournament with a fine one-under par 70, was struggling in the morning going five-over for the front nine three bogeys and a double bogey on ninth.
She settled down better on the back nine with two birdies, one bogey and one double bogey and a 37 for a card of 77.
Millie Saroha and Raksha had two birdies each in their rounds of 75, while Gurbani played steady for her 76 but had just one birdie.
Ankita Kedalya (79-75) and Trisha Sunil (81-75) rounded off the top-six.
Fourteen-year-old Ridhima (147) was also leading in Category B with Ankita Kedalya (154) second, while in Category A, Mille Saroha (152) was just one ahead of Raksha (153).
In category C, Arushi Pandey (86-82) overtook Riya Ahuja (81-88) while in Category D, Tanishka Kumar (82-82) stayed ahead of Anika Varma (89-87).
This is the penultimate event of the Ladies amateur Tour with only one more event, the All India Amateurs to be held in December at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC).
