New Delhi, Nov 1 (IANS) Choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza is set to organise dance workshops across 16 cities as part of the promotional campaign for his new film “Any Body Can Dance” (ABCD).

The cast and the crew of the film plan to visit different cities and set-up daylong workshops. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the film features Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya and winners of a dance reality show.
“The idea is to spread the message that dance is for everyone,” Remo said in a statement.
“We thought of taking this initiative as we want to teach everyone how to dance, we will teach them varieties, styles, popping and locking, hip-hop, Bollywood and others. This way we are staying true to the film’s title and simultaneously promoting it,” he added.

The tour will start from mid-December and will end on Feb 1.

A spokesperson from UTV added: “The film is an underdog story with dance as its binding factor. We want to celebrate dance by organizing these sessions with Remo and Prabhu Deva.”
