Lucknow, Nov 22 (IANS) Burglars struck at a jewellery shop in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh early Thursday and decamped with jewellery, diamonds and cash worth over Rs.1 crore, police said.

The burglary took place at the Radhey Lal and Sons in Chopla temple area and was discovered when the shop opened Thursday.
The owner found cash, gold ornaments and diamonds missing from the shop. Police told IANS they suspected an insider’s involvement as burglars knew where the eight CCTV cameras were installed.
The criminals disconnected the CCTV cameras and damaged them too.
