London, Nov 24 (IANS) Singer Marc Anthony has lent financial aid to rebuild an orphanage in the Dominican Republic.
The 44−year−old has donated money for the refurbishment and expansion of the Children of Christ orphanage through his Maestro Cares Foundation, which he founded with Colombian concert promoter Henry Cardenas, reports contactmusic.com.
The foundation has raised $200,000, which will be used for building a residence hall, classrooms and a baseball field for the orphanage which was founded in 1996 for children who were abused or abandoned.
