Kabul, Dec 24 (IANS) A NATO advisor was killed in Kabul Monday when a woman dressed in Afghan police uniform opened fire at the police the headquarters, Xinhua reported.
The victim was an American national, according to the local Tolo TV.
The NATO-led coalition confirmed that a police advisor with the ISAF came under attack.
“We are aware an Afghan woman dressed in Afghan police uniform attacked a civilian police advisor in Kabul and the shooter was arrested,” a spokesman for the coalition said. The motive of the attack was not immediately clear.
