Shimla, Dec 25 (IANS) The newly-constituted Congress government in Himachal Pradesh Tuesday said all the decisions taken by the previous BJP government in the past six months would be reviewed.

The 10-member cabinet headed by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, at its first meeting soon after their swearing-in, also decided that all the criminal cases registered on political grounds would be withdrawn, a government spokesperson told IANS.
It was decided to convene the first assembly session of the state assembly in Dharamsala from Jan 8 to 11 in which oath will be administered to newly-elected legislators.
The session would begin with the address of Governor Urmila Singh.
The spokesperson said the cabinet also decided that steps be taken for framing policy for regularisation of teachers appointed by parent teachers associations in the state.
“All notified schools which were closed during the last five years would be reviewed,” he added.
