Chandigarh, Dec 28 (IANS) After the chilly, foggy conditions of the last few days, parts of Punjab and Haryana experienced bright sunshine Friday morning.

Met officials here said Chandigarh, Ambala, Narnaul, Amritsar and Ludhiana did not experience fog Friday morning.
Narnaul was the coldest in Haryana with a minimum temperature of three degrees Celsius. Karnal town had a low of 4.2 degrees.
The minimum temperature in Chandigarh was seven degrees Celsius, while the maximum Thursday was 14 degrees Celsius. The sun shone over the city after four days.
The minimum temperature in Punjab’s Patiala town, which saw fog early Friday, was six degrees Celsius.
Met officials said that night temperatures in the region could drop in the coming days.
