The inauguration of the event in Mumbai was done by famed cricket coach Ramakant Achrekar, who has trained Sachin Tendulkar and many other young cricketers in their formative years.
Speaking about Tendulkar, Achrekar said the cricketer has served the nation for a long time and that the timing he has chosen to retire from One-Day Internationals is right.

“Also this is the only time when the boss and a large part of his team get together to compete together for honours for their store,” he said.
