Gurgaon, Jan 9 (IANS) A domestic help of a retired colonel decamped with jewellery worth Rs.20 lakh on her first day of work, police said Wednesday.
The retired colonel, who works as a security chief at a multi-national company, had employed the maid at his house in Sector 31 without police verification.
“The employer and his family do not know her name or her address. We have registered a case and are investigating the theft,” police said.
