New Delhi, Jan 10 (IANS) Activists of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal Thursday staged a protest here over the brutal killing of two Indian soldiers by Pakistan troops and submitted a memorandum in this regard to President Pranab Mukherjee.
The protestors were led by Satyendra Mohan, secretary general of the VHP’s Delhi unit, and Shiv Kumar of Bajrang Dal. The protest was staged at Jantar Mantar.
Later, a four-member team representing both the outfits submitted a memorandum of demands to President Mukherjee.
“Through the memorandum, we have demanded that the president break all relations with Pakistan as they are not following the ceasefire agreement,” Satyendra Mohan told IANS.
“The attack on Indian soldiers was an attempt to derail the dialogue process between the two countries,” Shiv Kumar said.
Lance Naik Hemraj and Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh were killed Tuesday by Pakistan Army soldiers who had intruded across the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir and ambushed an Indian patrol. The mutilated bodies of the two Indian soldiers were later found by their colleagues on patrol.
