Ghaziabad, July 30 (Inditop.com) A private travel agent was found murdered here, police said Thursday.
The body of Mahaveer Singh, 35, was found early Thursday in the Govindpuram area of Ghaziabad, police added.
“The body of Singh, a private travel agent, was found in a vacant plot around 350 metres from his home in the Govindpuram area Thursday morning by a passerby who informed the police,” station officer Anil Kaparwan said.
“Singh’s throat was slit and he had stab wounds on his stomach,” Kaparwan added.
“We are investigating the case. Singh was a witness in a 2006 murder case. We are looking into that angle also,” Kaparwan added.
