-*-Rituparna Sengupta, here, there, everywhere!
Actress Rituparno Sengupta often left the crew of her new film “Calapor” guessing about her whereabouts while managing her schedule very well.
It so used to happen that since “Calapor” was largely shot in Goa and Rituparna was simultaneously shooting for her other films and even promoting a film, was quite often seen shuttling between Goa and Kolkata.
A source told of how the actress would shoot her part in the film and then fly down to Kolkata via Mumbai the next day.
“She had to repeat this quite often as (one of) her film was around the release corner and pending projects had to be completed as she has committed to them.
No one from the production team would have any knowledge about her whereabouts whether she was in Mumbai or Kolkata,” said the source.
But nobody ever had any complaint.
“She would always make sure to reach the sets on time,” the source said.
“Calapor”, produced by Prasad Creations and directed by Dinesh. P. Bhonsle, deals with the subject of reformation in jail. Releasing Aug 2, the movie also features Priyanshu Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Harsh Chhaya, Binny Sharma, P.Subbaraju, Aziz Naseer and newcomer Aakash Sharma.
