Rio de Janeiro, July 1 (IANS) Fred scored two goals and Neymar added another as Brazil beat world and European champions Spain 3-0 to win the Confederations Cup.

Fred opened for Brazil two minutes into the match and Neymar put the hosts 2-0 up just before halftime at the Maracana here Sunday night, reports Xinhua.
Fred scored his fifth goal in five matches early in the second half to complete Brazil’s tally before Sergio Ramos missed a penalty kick for Spain in the 55th minute.
Spain defender Gerard Pique was sent off for fouling Neymar in the 68th minute.
