Kabul, Sep 2 (IANS) As many as seven bullet-riddled bodies were found in Afghanistan’s Ghazni province Sunday.

“Afghan National Police (ANP) found seven bullet-riddle bodies from Andar district earlier on Sunday, and all the victims apparently are civilians working in a local construction firm in Ghazni,” reported Xinhua citing provincial governor Musa Khan Akbarzada.
Blaming Taliban militants for kidnapping and murdering the people, the governor said the militants had kidnapped the victims a couple of days ago and shot them dead.
However, sources said, the bodies were of some soldiers who were kidnapped a few days ago along the Kabul-Kandahar highway.
Taliban were yet to make an comment on the incident.
