Paris, Sep 13 (IANS) French President Francois Hollande unveiled his 10-year roadmap to inject fresh blood into the waning domestic industrial business by focusing on new technologies and innovative sectors.

Presenting the 34 priority areas, including for electric planes, cars and new generation high-speed trains, Hollande said he wanted to reshape a “new industrial France” to snatch a place among world’s industrial leaders, Xinhua reported Thursday.
The government pledged to pour 3.7 billion euros ($4.91 billion) into promising sectors such as environmental transition, health and new technologies.
Denouncing a “lost decade” of his Conservative predecessors in which industrial businesses lost 750,000 jobs, Holalnde promised to create 475,000 jobs by 2023.
“France is a nation of inventors, pioneers and producers. We have a duty to remain so,” the president said.
