New Delhi, Sep 27 (IANS) In a unique collaboration with Nokia India, designer JJ Valaya, director Imtiaz Ali and celebrity chef Vikas Khanna used the 41 megapixel camera of Nokia Lumia 1020 to capture unique stories in the form of photographs.

The photographs taken by the three celebrities were displayed at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art here Thursday.
Khanna captured the vibrant community of Mumbai. His imagery was on the theme – the invisible thread, based on the Chinese philosophy of the invisible red thread, according to which everything and every moment in time and every frame is connected.
“As a chef, detailing is a critical aspect of presenting a good dish. Likewise, a good image is the one which has details captured in it, and that’s exactly what stands out about the camera on the Lumia 1020,” Khanna said in a statement.
Ali, who used the device to capture the spirit and soul of Mumbai, said: “The city has moods beyond the obvious. I pushed the Nokia Lumia 1020 and the camera pushed me to get images of the inner story of Bombay.”
Valaya’s theme was the maker, the muse and as the title indicates, his muse for the shoot were the talented craftsmen who create his beautiful apparel.
“I am constantly traveling, courtesy my profession. I constantly notice compositions around me which I want to capture but have always shied from because of my dislike of carrying two devices – a camera and a phone,” he said.
“Nokia just took care of my wish! The resolution and the depth of the colours are impressive on the Nokia Lumia 1020 and the level of detail I captured using this device is quite simply phenomenal,” he said.
