Mumbai, Aug 11 (Inditop.com) Indian equities were trading in the green Tuesday afternoon, with a key index ruling 193 points higher than its previous close.

At 2.10 p.m., the 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 15,000.38 points, was at 15,202.92 points, up 193.15 points or 1.29 percent.

Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) too was in the green at 4,509.45 points, up 1.62 percent.

Broader market indices were ruling in the positive terrain with the BSE midcap index 1.77 percent up while the BSE smallcap index was 1.37 percent higher.
