Kabul, Oct 21 (IANS) Four Taliban militants, including their commander, were killed when Afghan security forces stormed their hideout in eastern Kunar province Monday, Xinhua reported citing a local official.
“Acting upon intelligence report, the security forces raided Taliban hideout in Kalajal village of Manogai district Monday morning killing four rebels including their commander Mullah Dawran,” district governor Hajji Abdul Marjan told Xinhua.
Taliban militants fighting the government are yet to make any comment on the incident.
