Rio de Janeiro, Oct 24 (IANS) AC Milan are considering a January move for highly rated Atletico Mineiro playmaker Luan.
The Italian club sent scouts to watch the 23-year-old during Atletico’s 1-0 victory over Cruzeiro earlier this month, reports Xinhua.
According to the Lancenet newspaper report, Milan have already held preliminary discussions with Atletico officials.
Luan earlier this year helped Atletico to victory in the Copa Libertadores, South America’s version of the UEFA Champions League.
He joined the Belo Horizonte club from Atletico Sorocaba in January after brief loan spells at Ponte Preta and Swiss outfit Basel.
