New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS) The city experienced a pleasant Saturday with the maximum temperature settling two notches below the season’s average at 28.6 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast clear skies on Diwali Sunday.

“The skies will remain sunny Sunday and there will be light mist early morning and in the evening,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 30 and 15 degrees Celsius, added the official.
The city saw light mist early Saturday morning and the minimum temperature settled a notch above the season’s average at 16.3 degrees Celsius.
Friday’s maximum temperature was recorded 30.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below season’s average, while the minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 16.7 degrees Celsius.
