Patna, Nov 9 (IANS) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad, who is currently in jail in connection with the multi-crore fodder scam, will receive Chhath prasad from his wife and former chief minister Rabri Devi soon.

“I will send Chhath prasad to Laluji in jail. My two sons or either one will visit him in Ranchi jail with it,” Rabri Devi told media persons here after the four-day festival concluded Saturday with the worship of the rising sun.
Rabri Devi recalled that Laluji is fond of Chhath prasad. “Laluji loves traditional sweets like thekua and other items prepared specially at home for offering,” she said.
According to a RJD leader, who resides close to Rabri Devi’s residence at 10 Circular Road here, her youngest son Tejaswi Yadav will visit Lalu with the Chhath prasad.
“Before Chhath, Tejaswi met Lalu, who advised him how to celebrate the festival in his absence. The festival was celebrated as per his guidelines,” the RJD leader said.
Rabri Devi along with their children celebrated Chhath at her official residence under tight security.
“After a long gap, I celebrated Chhath in the absence of Laluji. His absence is something which can’t be described in words,” she added.
Rabri Devi’s Chhath celebrations began attracting attention ever since she became chief minister in 1997.
