Washington, Dec 28 (IANS) The Atlanta Hawks would miss their starting scorer Al Horford indefinitely due to a torn right pectoral muscle.
Horford suffered the injury in the Hawks’ double-overtime victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers Thursday, reports Xinhua.
“We will work with Al and complete our due diligence to determine the next best steps,” said the Hawks general manger Danny Ferry in a statement.
Horford averages 18.6 points and 8.4 rebounds for the Hawks this season.
