New Delhi, Dec 28 (IANS) The BJP will play the role of an “honest, sincere” opposition and watch how early Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal fulfills his promises made to the people, BJP leader Harsh Vardhan said Saturday.

Harsh Vardhan, who was the chief ministerial candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party, wished Kejriwal success after the Aam Aadmi Party leader took oath as the chief minister.
“The challenge is to fulfill the tall promises made to the people of Delhi… (We) would like to watch when and how early he will fulfill the promises,” Harsh Vardhan told Times Now news channel.
He said the BJP will play the role of a “sincere, honest” opposition in Delhi.
Harsh Vardhan claimed Kejriwal had said during the election campaign that he knew magic to find solutions to various problems.
“I hope the magic would persist. Why is he (now) saying that magic does not exist?” Harsh Vardhan said.
In the face of rising expectations from the AAP government, Kejriwal Saturday advised people patience, and said he had no “magic wand” to solve all their problems.
“We do not believe we have all the answers to all the problems, or that god has given wisdom only to us. But if we all get together, then there is no problem that cannot be resolved,” he said after being sworn in as the chief minister.
The BJP emerged the single largest party in the Delhi assembly polls with 31 seats in a 70-member house. The AAP finished second with 28 seats.
Harsh Vardhan said his party will work towards success in the Lok Sabha polls and making Narendra Modi the prime minister.
He also said the BJP will protest if the AAP government does not roll back prices of CNG announced Thursday.
