Los Angeles, Feb 2 (IANS) Singer-songwriter Vanessa White has opened up about her battle with alcohol which threatened her career in 2010.

The Saturdays singer says that her troubled past made her ”depressed” because she wasn’t sure who she was, reports contactmusic.com.
Speaking in this week’s issue of The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s Fabulous magazine, she admitted: ”I drank vodka mainly but, to be honest, I drank anything.”
”It massively affected the band and I felt lonely and depressed. I didn’t know who I was underneath everything I was supposed to be. I’d arrive for work every morning hungover, then my voice started to go. I’d have to ask Una (Foden) to cover my solos,” she added.
