Toronto, Feb 3 (IANS) An Indian-origin man in Canada, accused of murdering a gangster last month, is scheduled to appear in a court Monday.
Jimi Sandhu, 24, who was arrested in Vancouver Friday in connection with the murder of gangster Matthew Campbell, is scheduled to appear in an Abbotsford court in British Columbia Monday, The Province reported Sunday.
He was charged with second degree murder.
Campbell was allegedly stabbed by Sandhu Jan 2 at a mall in Abbotsford. The victim was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police said Campbell was associated with a notorious gang in the province called Red Scorpions and the members of the gang are identified by “RS” tattoos on their arms and necks.
