New Delhi, Feb 10 (IANS) Delhi experienced a chilly Monday with the maximum temperature recorded three notches below the season’s average at 20 degrees Celsius. Tuesday is however forecast to be pleasant.

The maximum and the minimum temperature Tuesday is likely to hover around 21 degrees Celsius and 6 degrees Celsius respectively.
The day will start with shallow fog, but the sky throughout the day will remain mainly clear.
Monday morning started with moderate fog, which cleared as the day progressed but it remained chilly throughout. The minimum temperature was 4.6 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season’s average.
According to the northern railway, 11 trains ran late due to the foggy weather in several parts of north India.
However flights operated without any delays, said an statement from the Indira Gandhi International airport.
Sunday’s maximum temperature settled at 19.5 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season’s average, while the minimum temperature was 7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average
