Islamabad, Feb 19 (IANS) Pakistan’s interior ministry has declared Islamabad as “extremely dangerous” as several militant groups are using the national capital for terror related activities, Geo News reported Wednesday.

The city is at high risk and has become the sleeper cell of the members of banned organisations like Al Qaeda, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Jahngvi (LeJ), according to a report prepared by the ministry.
It claims that arms and terrorists are entering the country through eastern and western borders. It also alleges that terrorism in Balochistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir is being sponsored by India.
Banned outfits of TTP and LeJ are a real threat in Punjab, while Al-Qaeda and LeJ are targeting Sindh, the report said.
