Kolkata, Aug 24 (Inditop.com) A used grenade was recovered from a garbage dump in West Bengal’s Darjeeling district Monday, police said.
According to police, the grenade was first spotted by local residents in Darjeeling More in Siliguri sub-division area.
“The grenade was a used one and it belonged to the army,” Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) Surajit Kar Purokayastha told Inditop.
He said the police is investigating how the grenade reached the garbage dump.
