New Delhi, April 14 (IANS) The national capital experienced a warm Monday with the maximum temperature recorded one notch below the season’s average at 34.5 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy Tuesday.

“The sky will be partly cloudy. One of two spells of very light rain or thundershower could occur in areas till Tuesday morning,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius respectively.
Monday morning saw light drizzle with the day’s minimum temperature recorded at 21.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average.
The day’s maximum and minimum humidity was recorded at 73 percent and 22 percent respectively.
Sunday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average, while the maximum settled a notch above average at 37.2 degrees Celsius.
