New Delhi, April 16 (IANS) It was a warm Wednesday in the national capital and the maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the season’s average at 34.2 degrees Celsius. Light rains are expected Thursday, the Met office said.

“The sky will be partly cloudy Thursday. One or two spells of light rain or thunderstorms could occur in some areas,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 33 and 18 degrees Celsius.
Wednesday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled two notches below the seasons’s average at 19.8 degrees Celsius.
The city experienced similar weather Tuesday, when the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius, and the minimum settled at 20.5 degrees Celsius.
