New Delhi, Aug 26 (Inditop.com)  When it rains in the national capital, it evokes mixed reactions of cheer and frustration. While the showers are welcome, they also bring in their wake acute inconvenience of waterlogging and traffic jams.

When it poured for the second consecutive day Wednesday, the temperature dipped but waterlogging led to traffic snarls.

“The recorded rainfall in the capital today (Wednesday) was 4.0 mm,” an official of the Indian Meteorological Department said.

“The maximum temperature Wednesday would hover around 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature would remain around 26 degrees Celsius,” the official added.

More rains are expected during the day.

Many office-goers were stuck in the rain for hours.

“I left for office around 11.45 a.m. but managed to reach only at 2 p.m. I had to stop twice in between to take cover as it was raining heavily,” said Mayank Sen, a sales executive.

Delhi had received showers Tuesday as well.
