New Delhi, July 14 (IANS) A day after experiencing its first monsoon showers, Delhi saw a muggy and sunny Monday with maximum temperature recorded at 36.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average, and humidity touching a high of 88 percent. Tuesday will be partly cloudy and some areas may have rain.

“Some parts of the city will receive thunder showers,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 degrees and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Monday’s minimum temperature settled at 25.9 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average, while the humidity wavered between a low of 62 percent and a high of 88 percent.
Sunday’s maximum temperature was 40.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 27 degrees Celsius.
