Rapper COREY MILLER has vowed to fight for his freedom, days after he was sentenced to life in prison for second-degree murder.

The star, known in the industry as C-Murder, was charged with slaying a teen in a New Orleans club in 2002. He was given a life sentence in 2003, which was overturned in 2006 after he had spent three years in a Louisiana prison.

However, a second trial began in August (09), and the star was once again handed a life sentence.

Despite the verdict, Miller is maintaining his innocence and has vowed to take his case back to court.

The star’s record label boss, and close friend, Kernell Reynolds tells Hip Hop Weekly, “He’s upbeat. Very positive. He knows he’s innocent. His faith is strong

“A lot of people are in jail for a long time because they gave up. They don’t fight for their freedom or to rove they’re innocent. We ain’t in it to give up.”
