The fourth FINAL DESTINATION movie has soared to the top of the U.S. box office – knocking QUENTIN TARANTINO’s INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS into second place.
The 3-D horror film scored an impressive $28.3
million (£17.1 million) in its opening weekend of release, comfortably beating the war movie’s second week takings of $20 million (£12.5 million).
Halloween II took $17.4 million (£10.9 million) to secure third place, ahead of District 9 and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra in fourth and fifth respectively.
