MICHAEL J. FOX’s cult 1980s movie TEEN WOLF is to be brought back to life in a new TV series.

Fox starred as a high school student who discovers he is a werewolf in the 1985 picture.

And now bosses at MTV have decided to revamp the movie for the small screen.

Senior vice president of MTV series development, Liz Gateley, insists the show will be “very different” from the original film.

She says, “It has a fresh take. It has more of an American Werewolf in Paris feel to it. It’s a dramatic thriller with two best friends in the centre who provide a great comedy element: They are two very relatable characters on the outer circles of popular cliques.”
