Munich, Sep 5 (IANS) Police gave an all-clear signal in Munich Friday afternoon after a suspected Ebola case alert at the central railway station proved to be a false alarm.
A train carrying a group of refugees arrived at 9 a.m. at Munich central railway station, according to a police spokesman.
“Two Somalis have become conspicuous. One of them has thrown up for many times,” Xinhua quoted the spokesman as saying and adding that “one emergency doctor had diagnosed a possible tropical disease”.
A few hours later, the police gave an all-clear signal that the man from Somalia did not have an infectious tropical disease.
The man was suspected of having a stomach inflammation and was sent to hospital.
The central station is now in full operation after being shut down for a short time, and train services have not been affected.
