Islamabad, Dec 26 (IANS) Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has formed a committee for the implementation of the anti-terrorism national action plan.

The committee will be chaired by Prime Minister Sharif and comprise federal ministers Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Pervaiz Rashid, Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Asif and the prime minister’s advisor Sartaj Aziz, The News International reported.
Sharif is chairing a high-level meeting which is discussing implementation of the anti-terrorism national action plan which was approved by the All Parties Conference (APC) Wednesday.
A few decisions were taken during the APC, including for the formation of special courts for a period of two years to cope with the menace of terrorism.
Madrassas would not be allowed to operate without proper registration and National Counter Terrorism Authority would be made fully functional and its financial issues would be solved were among the decisions taken.
