Patna, Sep 5 (Inditop.com) A Bihar court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray after he failed to appear before it in a case of allegedly making uncharitable and inflammatory remarks against residents of the state in his party mouthpiece Saamna.

Rakesh Pati Tiwari, the sub-divisional judicial magistrate in Ara, district headquarters of Bhojpur, ordered issuance of the warrant Friday after Thackeray failed to appear before him or send a lawyer representing him in compliance with the court’s July 7 order.

The court had issued a bailable arrest warrant earlier, asking Thackeray to present his version on a complaint filed by senior advocate Rajesh Kumar Singh in the court in 2008, accusing the Sena leader of making comments against Biharis in the party mouthpiece.
